Terms of Service
Effective date: October 1, 2026. These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Newburgh Bay Air Pros website and to service requests you make by phone or through our contact form. By using the website or requesting service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

We are a referral service
This website and phone line are a referral service. Newburgh Bay Air Pros connects you with independent HVAC technicians, licensed where New York requires it, who perform the work. Every HVAC technician we send is licensed where New York requires it, and insured.
Newburgh Bay Air Pros does not itself perform heating, cooling or other mechanical work and does not hold itself out as a licensed contractor. New York has no statewide HVAC license; licensing is set by cities and counties, and technicians who handle refrigerant need EPA Section 608 certification. You may ask the technician for license and insurance details before any work begins.
Using this website
You may use this website to learn about heating and cooling problems, find out how the service works and request HVAC service. You agree not to misuse the website, including by submitting false information or someone else's details, interfering with its operation, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or copying its content for commercial use without our written permission. The text, images and design of this website belong to Newburgh Bay Air Pros or are used with permission.
General information, not a diagnosis
Articles, checklists and service descriptions on this website are general information about heating and cooling systems in the Newburgh, NY area. They are not a diagnosis of your system and do not promise any result, price, timeline or outcome. Every home and system is different, and only a qualified technician who inspects your equipment can tell you what is wrong and what it will take to fix it.
Never open burner compartments, equipment cabinets beyond the filter door, electrical panels or refrigerant lines based on anything you read here. On an oil burner, press the reset button once at most.
Estimates and scheduling
When you call or submit a request, we gather details about the problem and dispatch an available technician who serves your area. Any arrival window we give you is an estimate based on technician availability, distance, bridge and road conditions, weather and call volume. We do not guarantee arrival times. During cold snaps and heat waves, when many systems fail at once, windows can run longer.
Submitting the contact form is a request for service, not a confirmed appointment, until we contact you to confirm it. Information you give us about your system helps the technician prepare, but the assessment is made on site. If you need to cancel or change a visit, call (321) 478-0693 as early as you can.
Pricing and payment
Prices for any diagnosis, repair, replacement or maintenance are set by the technician's company, not by Newburgh Bay Air Pros. The technician diagnoses the problem and gives you a written price before work starts, and no work begins until you approve it. Prices depend on factors such as the parts needed, access to the equipment, the fuel type, steam or hot water systems, refrigerant type, system age, permits and whether the visit is after hours. Ask about any diagnostic or service-call fee when you call. Payment terms are explained by the technician's company before work starts.
This website does not list prices, and nothing on it is an offer to perform work at a particular price.
Responsibility for the work and warranties
The independent technician and the company they work for, not Newburgh Bay Air Pros, are responsible for the diagnosis, the repair or installation, any permits the job requires and the quality of the workmanship. Any warranty on equipment comes from the manufacturer under its terms, and any warranty on labor comes from the company that performs the work. Ask for warranty terms in writing. Newburgh Bay Air Pros does not provide its own warranty on HVAC work.
Emergency safety notice
Safety warning: If you smell gas, hear a carbon monoxide alarm or see smoke or fire, leave the building immediately. From a safe place outside, call 911 or Central Hudson's gas emergency line. Do not use switches, thermostats or phones inside the building. Call us only after emergency responders or the utility have made the home safe.
Newburgh Bay Air Pros is an HVAC referral service, not an emergency response service. Do not rely on this website, our phone line or our contact form for life-safety emergencies.
Website provided as is
This website is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep the information accurate and current, but we do not promise that the website will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components, or that every piece of information on it is complete or up to date. Rebate programs, utility rules and permit requirements change; check with the program, utility or building department before relying on them. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties about the website, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Newburgh Bay Air Pros is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or from relying on information on it. Because independent technicians perform the HVAC work, claims about the work itself should be directed to the company that performed it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under New York law.

This website may link to other websites, such as maps, utility programs or manufacturer resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own risk and under their terms.
Governing law and changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when we post them on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
